Diagnostic tests
Mauro Carratelli’s intense research activity has led to the development of diagnostic tests in the field of oxidative stress assessment, today brought together in the Carratelli Panel. The Carratelli Panel is the integrated analytical approach that enables a global assessment of oxidative balance through the performance of tests that are complementary to each other and currently consists of 15 tests. The tests are divided into two groups: those dedicated to assessing the pro-oxidant state and those dedicated to assessing the antioxidant state. They are applicable in the human, veterinary and agri-food sectors.
